Internship Program
OVERVIEW
The Complete Player internship program is intended to provide valuable and practical educational experiences for the student. This experience is gained by watching and performing tasks while under the supervision the Executive Director. All internships are unpaid and must count toward academic credit. In addition, the student is not entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship.
REQUIREMENTS
Students seeking an internship should meet the following criteria:

Current Junior or Senior with at least 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.0 major GPA, with a declared major in Business, Marketing, Finance, Teaching or Communications.

Ideal candidates must be creative, flexible, open-minded, enthusiastic and self-motivated and should have excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.

Must have a passion for youth sports and youth in general

Ideal candidates will be required to take photos during baseball games and practices, so must have flexibility in evening schedule.

Ideal candidates will have access to computer and laptop and be able to provide own transportation.

Included in the cover letter should be area of interest and dates of availability. For planning needs, Fall term is September - December; Spring term is February - May; Summer term is June - August.
Current Internship Opportunities
Marketing and Communications Associate
The intern will experience and learn skills related to business development. Working alongside the Executive Director the intern will develop marketing materials that will help grow and engage the Charities donor and volunteer base and increase visibility in the community. The intern will also help to build relationships between the Charity and local businesses.
A Program Associate intern will work directly with the Executive Director and gain valuable skills and experience in lesson planning and curriculum development at the elementary school level. Interns will also gain experience working directly with elementary school students, teachers and faculty.
The internship is designed to provide the student with experience in managing accounting books and entries in a real world setting with specific guidelines and deadlines. The intern will again experience in IRS and State filing requirements and creating financial statements for Nonprofits.
